Blueberry and Spinach Smoothie

Blueberries are believed to be anti-cancerous, offer cardiovascular and cognitive benefits, helps ward off urinary-tract infections, helps dry skins, and supports eye health, Spinach is extremely rich in vitamin K, which is important for maintaining bone health. It’s also rich in vitamin A, manganese, folate, magnesium, and iron. Spinach and Blurberries together make a powerful yet refreshing smoothie!

Ingredients:

1/4 cup almond milk
4 ice cubes
1 cup fresh organic spinach
1 medium-sized banana
1/2 cup fresh blueberries

Preparation:

1. Blend together the banana, ice cubes, blueberries and liquid until
smooth.
2. Add spinach and blend again until completely smooth and creamy.
3. No sweetener is needed in this recipe, as the blueberries carry the flavor,
but if you find it a bit too bland; try adding a few drops of stevia.
